Bill Deutsch is a retired Auburn University aquatic ecologist who has spent almost 3 decades exploring, restoring & championing Alabama waterways. He has published a book, Alabama Rivers, A Celebration and Challenge that he hopes will encourage current & future generations to respect & care for the state’s 132,000 miles of rivers, lakes and streams.
